Mi Hermana
This past weekend my little sister graduated from Charles Drew Medical School. Not much makes me proud; however, I'm ecstatic over my sister's latest accomplishment! I look forward to witnessing her further her education and continue to carry the torch of excellence in the Alli family... :)

28!
Veintiocho! I think about all of those who have passed on prior to reaching my age, and it makes me realize how grateful I am to see another birthday. As I get older, I realize how precious every second of my life is and how every experience contributes to the storyline of my life. I'm thankful to have such a close knit support team of family and friends. I love all of you!

My Photoshoot
Usually I'm the one that is behind the camera capturing all of the action, so this time around I had the pleasure of having some pictures taken by an old friend of mine. Thank you Christina... :)

March of Dimes 2012
Even though I do not have any children of my own, I love children because of their untainted view of the world and unconditional love. Therefore, every year I participate in the March of Dimes run. The goal of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and other infant-related health issues. Please join me in supporting the cause by making a small donation to this great cause! Please click on the following link for information on how you can donate to my March of Dimes team, Team Heem: http://www.marchforbabies.org/team/t1735297
Thank you!

Cancun
For those of you who know me personally, you know that I love to travel. Earlier this year I was invited to attend a "celebration" for a mutual friend of mine who is getting married this summer. Aside from taking a well deserved break from work and having tons of fun, I also learned a lot from this trip. One of the most important lessons I learned is that surrounding myself with those that are "on my level" is a must. When I say "on my level" I don't mean it in the way that says that I'm better than anyone else. I'm simply just saying that I must continue to surround myself with people who are career driven, financially responsible, and unreasonably happy. Remember happiness is contagious, and that is one sickness that I don't mind continually catching!
